Day 47 DeFuniak Springs to Marianna

Another day and another east headwind for 68 miles.  We cycled through the historic area of DeFuniak Springs.  The damage from Hurricane Michael last year was significant as we approached Marianna.

After the ride, Adrian & PaPow are enjoying a Margarita at Up The Creek Cafe.

Henry on the other hand thinks it's Easter with his pink egg 😁

This is where we had dinner the night before at the Sunset King RV Resort.  This was a very nice facility with gracious hosts and entertainment for the 2019 coasters.

Street view as we cycled through DeFuniak Springs.  Beautiful historic Florida Panhandle town.

One of the many older homes in DeFuniak Springs.

Couldn't help but notice this sign along highway 90.  We are in gator country and that is about as close to the creek as either of us cared to venture to see an alligator.

Tommorow we cycle 85 miles to Tallahassee, the state capital of Florida.  We also will enter the Eastern Standard Time Zone.

  1. That was one of my favorite days, other than the fact that you cross the same railroad tracks about 10 times! Beautiful town with the beautiful Victorians.
