Today is our final rest day on Coast 2 Coast. In the morning we will hop on a ferry and then cycle to our eighth and final state - Florida. On our rest day key priorities are restocking the Yetti, bike maintenance and enjoying the gulf coast.
Fellow coasters Rick, Rudy, Amy, Adrian & Timi Jo are seen having a great time at Islander's on Dauphin Island.
One of the things we do on our day off is restock the Yetti. Seen here are Henry and Everett from the Wolfpack. The only three people allowed to handle the Yetti on C2C are Everett, Henry & Adrian.
Otto from Germany demonstrates the balancing skills he learned when he ran away as a child and joined the circus.
Henry has had nothing but problems with his Di2 electronic shifting. The culprit was this defective Shimano battery about the size of a cigar.
On our days off we are often seen conducting routine bike maintenance and often relax in our Helinox rocking chairs near a well stocked Yetti.
Even Coach is seen overseeing the Wolfpack detailing a bike.
Life can be rough...but not for Adrian & Henry. That's all for today and we hope our readers have a great weekend.
In Henry's frustration with his ailing bike, he consulted with the local professional about proper disposal of the bike, but found the price of bike burial to be exorbitant!
