Day 40 - Franklinton to Poplarville

After the best day on the trip yesterday, we followed it up with an even better day today.  The bloggers would have never thought at the onset of the trip the two best days of C2C would be back 2 back days in Louisiana and Mississippi.

The bloggers celebrate entering Mississippi as the states start coming fast and furious in the home stretch!!! Less than two weeks til we dip our tires in the Atlantic!!!

Cycling through rural countryside near Poplarville, Mississippi.

Peal River County Courthouse was built in 1890 and has a moving tribute out front to her sons of the World War - 1917 - 1918.

Meet some of the 2019 coasters (Jim, Dave, John, Mike & Rudy).  Good times in Poplarville, Mississippi at the Pearl River Soda Fountain.  Amazing ice cream, sundaes and shakes.  If you are in the area, be sure to check out this 1950's era experience.

After cold weather the first month, we are now back to warm temperatures and are loving it!!

Tomorrow we cycle 70 miles to Ocean Springs.
