Day 38 - Rest Day St. Francisville

As Maureen McGovern sang: There's got to be a morning after if we can hold on through the night.....We'll, it was a heck of an overnight storm.  Today it was sunny on our day off so the bloggers took a tour of the St. Francisville historic district.  Most of these buildings were built in the 1800s.  Enjoy our short tour.

This is the Grace Church of West Feliciana. It was built in 1827 and was shelled during the Civil War.

Inside the Grace Church of West Feliciana.

The small town of St. Francisville has courthouse with the Confederate flag. We wonder how much longer that will be the case.

Mike a fellow coaster is seen shopping at the St. Francisville Button Store. Coasters do interesting things on days off.

Henry took a short tour of the St. Francisville visitor center.

On our day off, many of the riders take the opportunity to change tires and clean their bikes.  Rick is seen repurposing a Bubba towel for routine bike maintenance.
