Since leaving San Diego last Saturday we have cycled 450 miles. We have our first rest day Sunday and are looking forward to the day off.
The day started with a beautiful sunrise in Casa Grande.
However, we checked our weather app on our phone and noticed it was only 37 degrees. A very cool start to the day, but the temps warmed up quickly into the low 60's. Unlike yesterday, we had headwind most of the day.
During the ride Henry flatted again.
This is three flats for Henry the past week. On the other hand, Adrian has not had a flat on two Coast 2 Coast rides......so far!! Since Adrian had to open his big mouth his good fortune is about to end.
As we rolled into Tucson we took the opportunity to bring our bikes into Walmart on shopping carts and restock with beverages. It's not often you see two guys loading up with beverages in lycra with high end bikes in a Walmart shopping cart.

Since we were well stocked with beverages we quickly turned our attention to food. We both enjoyed a double-double burger at In-N-Out Burger.

I hope Henry's string of back luck with the tires ends now!! Also love how you protected your bikes by taking them into the store in the cart!
