Today was the longest riding day since leaving San Diego. The ride through the Sonoran Desert was 87 miles. Fortunately, this was our lucky day....
At mile 28 Adrian gives a big two 👍👍 A cyclist two best friends in the Sonoran Desert - cool and overcast with a 20+ mph tail wind.
Near the end of the ride the winds were even stronger. The authors believe we received positive karma from our visit to the center of the world earlier in the week.
Cycling through the Sonoran Desert is a very impressive experience with many Saguaro Cactus along the route.
As were cycling along the route a large caravan with three police escorts came through carrying a massive rocket tank. You just never know what you will see cycling in the Sonoran desert.
The evening ended with another beautiful desert sunset. Tommorow we cycle to Catalina State Park.
