Day 4 - Calexico to Yuma

The ride today went through one of the mystical spots of not only California, but the World.  The place we visited was the Center of the World Museum and it has very impressive certifications from prestigious global organizations to prove it.

Henry and Adrian are playing the role of God in touching Michealangelo's finger from the Sistine Chapel.  Both are hoping to receive positive energy from this to carry us all the way to St. Augustine.

To enhance their psychic karma further, Adrian and Henry also employed the universal power of the pyramid.

After Henry returned from receiving all of this positive energy, he found his bike in the Center of the World with a flat tire; his second of the trip after no flats last year.  Henry is off to a bad start with two flats in four days.  Come on Karma πŸ‘

As we crossed the Colorado River we moved from CA into AZ.  Henry is standing in front of one of the original bridges on the transcontinental Highway that we will follow extensively on this trip and will tell you more about as we go.

The authors were glad to enter Yuma, Arizona and find a great microbrewery 🍺🍺

Adrian and Henry are celebrating at Prison Hill Brewery after entering our second state and looking forward to more fun times in Arizona.

On a somber note, one of our fellow riders Rick went down today and we wish him a speedy recovery and hope he can rejoin us soon.
