Day 28 - Kerrville to Blanco

A wonderful day in the Texas Hill country in many respects.  60 miles with 2,800 feet of climbing in the heart of the Texas Hill country.  It was a roller coaster of climbing steep hills and then screaming down the other side.  We ended the day at Real Ale Brewery & Distillery followed by a great Texas BBQ dinner.

After the ride the third stooge Rudy joined Henry and Adrian at Real Ale Brewery & Distillery.  The bloggers like hanging out with Rudy.  He rides hard and plays hard just like us.

Adrian is seen crushing one of the many climbs in the Texas Hill country.

Typical view we saw on the route. Hills and more hills....  8 to 12 percent grades were not uncommon during the ride.

We are in Texas Longhorn country.

The bloggers visited Real Ale Brewery & Distillery.  We met the owner of 'The Heart of Texas' wine tours.  What a great time we had!!

Next we turned our attention to Texas Hill country food.  Henry had the Chuck Norris sandwich and Adrian had the Willie Nelson sandwich.  We have been feasting on brisquit and BBQ and we love it!!

When we finally made it back to camp we witnessed this beautiful sunset!!  It was a great day indeed (ride, brewery, food & sunset).
