Day 26 - Rest (Party) Day Concan

We are staying at the Riverbend on the Frio River for our rest day.  This is our kind of rest day.... Coffee at 7:30, breakfast at 8:30, Bloody Mary's at 10:30, lunch at 1:30 and dinner at 6:00!!

One of the major accomplishments today was cleaning our bikes.  Henry is multitasking wearing his kilt with a Bloody Mary in one hand, degreaser in the other hand and a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer on his knee.  Henry is very unique and skilled in many respects.

Interestingly, Adrian shows his equally unique skills in the afternoon opening a bottle of Joel Gott Cabernet Sauvignon.  During his many years in California he learned how to make origami symbols out of wine bottle foil.  In this case he told us he would be doing batman ears, which we thought came out well.  How does he do it!!

During the day, Adrian caught his fellow blogger and fellow rider John sizing up an abandoned mobile bar with multiple Texas license plates that Henry is now negotiating to become the traveling bar for the rest of the C2C ride.
