Day 25 - Brackettville to Concan

Day 25 was a 74 mile ride with two distinct characteristics.  We encountered a 15 mph east headwind the first 40 miles to Uvalde.  After lunch, we turned north the final 35 miles and entered the Texas Hill country.  The weather and scenery during the afternoon was spectacular.

As usual we endured another strong east headwind.   As you can probably tell, we are getting tired of east winds!!

As we were leaving Uvalde we noticed this establishment.  Guns, Liquor & Bottle'nBag.  What could possibly go wrong - lol.

As we were entering the Texas Hill country Adrian found his new Ranch called AA Ranch.  I just may come back someday and meet the owner.

As we were approaching Concan we took in the lush green hills and Frio River.  Beautiful area!!

One of the many Texas rolling hills we enjoyed during the afternoon.  This part of Texas reminds the authors of southwest Wisconsin.

We are looking forward to cycling in the Texas Hill country the next week.  This is one of our favorite areas on C2C.  Cheers from Adrian & Henry!!
