Today was a challenging 75 mile ride with 10+ mph east headwinds throughout the ride.
At mile 49 we had a wonderful lunch prepared by our SAG team in the New Mexico desert. This is a very remote area where the nearest town is 35 miles away in either direction.
However, near our lunch stop someone decided to decorate this tree. In the desert this certainly caught our attention!
After the ride fellow coasters Rudy & Chris are seen celebrating St Patrick's day at Twin Peaks in El Paso, Texas.

A key hightlight today was crossing into our fourth state - Texas. Unfortunately, it will take us nearly 1,065 miles to cycle across the great state of Texas.
