The 92 mile ride from Rodeo to Columbus can be summed up in one word - windy!
We encountered a 28 mph east head wind, which made the ride very challenging. Henry and I did a pace line for 26 miles which helped a bit. We both made it to mile 46 and decided to call it a day. Outlined below are three videos of what we encountered in the New Mexico desert.
Adrian is cycling into a 28 mph desert headwind and still has a smile.
Day 15 is a rest day then we cycle 75 miles into another strong east head wind to El Paso, Texas.

Love the opening picture!
ReplyDeleteSo much wind! Something tells me that if this were your first C2C, you would have kept going.
